I volunteer at my church as an usher. I am new to the church and am learning the ropes, but I enjoy helping out.

I coach the local high school football team. My kids are grown, but I enjoy coaching, so I volunteered to help the team. High School Football is a big sport in our town, so a large part of the community comes out to support the team.

My dog Max is trained to visit nursing homes and share his love and joy with the residents. Max is a smaller dog and he is full of life! The residents all know him well and look forward to his visits. This is a great way to share the company of a pet and yourself with those who may not have much social interaction on a daily basis.

I help my daughter's girl scout troop. She has been a girl scout for many years and I have been lucky enough to share in this experience with her.

I volunteer to help out on my boys sports teams when I can. My boys each have a different favorite sport, from basketball to football to baseball. I do what I can, when I can.

I completed a walk for Breast Cancer. A friend of mine has suffered thorugh this awful disease, so in honor of her, a group of us completed a Breast Cancer walk. And BTW- I am proud of our family! We have completed many acts of kindness and it is cool to watch the map and see how far our inspiration travels. Keep up the good work and keep moving the tag! See you all at the next reunion!!

I was asked to volunteer to manage the parking lot for the local breast cancer walk. There were 1600 participants at the walk. The lots were overflowing with cars! $120,000 was raised to support a cure for cancer.

As a retiree, I love to golf! My friends and I participate in local golf charity events that help raise money for worthy causes. I get the best of both world's; I play a game I love, and I help support a cause. Life is good!

I attended a luncheon to raise money for the Student Historical Art Resource Program, a nonprofit education program in Milwaukee. The theme for the event was taken from a recently published book about bullying. As a Grandma, I was not aware how prevalent bullying is in schools these days. It was shocking for me to hear some of the stories. This is another worthy cause that needs to be addressed and can use more volunteers to create a voice to be heard.

Well.....guess what I did today? I supported one of my favorite causes, Meals on Wheels! I know you all know that I enjoy delivering meals to local seniors but today was even better because my girlfriend and I split the delivery route and had enough time to grab a bite to eat after!
