There is a monthly program at my church where people can volunteer to bring in food for the homeless. This year I was asked to to bring in 2 boxes of cereal and 3 dozen prepackaged cookies, so once a month I go to the store to purchase these items, then I bring them to the church. It is amazing how many people bring in food--the kitchen where the food is brought is filled with food to give. I like being apart of that.
